Staff

We have clinical pharmacists and nurses on staff who help manage patient wellness and diseases.

Harris Morgan, Rph is the owner and proprietor of Morgan Medical and brings with him over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and health care industry.  He has won many awards and is known for his personal re lationships with his customers as well as his excellent knowledge of his field.

Ragan Pollock, R.N. is a staff nurse at Thrift Center.  He has 10 years of experience in critical care and emergency. He now works with many home IV therapy patients helping retain independence while administering medications they need. Ragan has many certifications including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Recucistation), and PICC line certified. He looks forward to working with the growing diabetic management (DIET™) program at the pharmacy.

DIET™ Program

Diabetes Instruction, Education & Training (DIET) is a comprehensive diabetes management program offered at Thrift Center Pharmacy. The program is intended to assist diabetes patients to successfully self-manage their disease.

The objectives of the DIET™ program are to:

  • Improve blood glucose control
  • Increase patient knowledge, skills, and confidence in managing their diabetes
  • Prevent side/ adverse effects of treatment
  • Minimize the complications of diabetes
  • Optimize overall quality of life

Patients may be referred to the DIET™ program by their physician, or they may self-enroll. Either way, the patient is assigned to one of our specially trained staff who perform a complete assessment of the patient's needs for diabetes related eduation and training. The DIET™ program is then customized to meet the needs of the specific individual.

TCC™ - Total Cholesterol Care

TCC™ is a comprehensive fat reduction and cholesterol program offered at Thrift Center Pharmacy.  This program reflects the combined expertise of physicians, pharmacists, and nutrition experts, and is based on the most recent scientific thinking in dietary, fat, and cholesterol management.

If you have one or more of the following risk factors, you are considered to be at risk for developing heart disease or a variety of other health problems and could benefit from TCC.

  • Males 45 years or older
  • Females 55 or older, or premature menopause without estrogen replacement therapy
  • Family history of heart disease
  • Current smoker
  • High blood pressure, or taking medications for high blood pressure
  • Low HDL - cholesterol (less than 35 mg/dL)
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • More than 20 pounds over ideal body weight

When you are entrolled in the TCC™ program our specially trained staff will work with you to:

  • Review your medical history
  • Perform a full cholesterol screening (a complete lipids panel profiling your total HDL and LDL and triglycerides)
  • Explain the results of your lipids panel and establish personal goals for you
  • Begin a comprehensive program designed to help you better manage your cholesterol, weight, blood pressure, diet, exercise, and medication therapy.
